The Providence Children's Museum

For the past year, we have had a Family Pass to the Providence Children's Museum and we have certainly made it worth it!  Caroline looks forward to it so much that we can't tell her too much ahead of time or we will get a LOT of questions about when we are leaving {never soon enough in her mind}.  She even gives us suggestions on which friends and family we should invite to come with us each time.

She moved pretty swiftly through the downstairs area this time, so I didn't get any photos there.  Usually she plays in the water area for a long time, but her favorite water exhibit was not working so she lost interest quickly.

Walking up the ramp, there are these little scenes for children to check out.  Caroline thought this North Pole scene was quite interesting.

At the top of the ramp, we stopped to move some rocks around with dump trucks.  Caroline loves anything to do with trucks!  She gets a kick out of being able to climb on the bridge and drive the truck or going under the bridge to steer the boat.

This was an activity that we had never explored before {and we've been many times!}.  Caroline found these templates.  You placed them one on top of the other to create a variety of designs.  There were even cards to challenge children to re-create designs.  She seemed to just enjoy putting the templates in the box and taking them out again.

After being around big kids for most of our trip to the museum, we found refuge in LittleWoods.  This area is specifically for children under the age of 4.  There was even a little playpen for Jace to roll around in!

That's a wrap!  We had a wonderful day at The Providence Children's Museum.
